Attributive clause
Teaching goals:
Through the lesson, help the students know what attributive clause is.
Teaching important and difficult points:
1. the choice of different relative pronouns.
2. the functions of a relative pronoun in a attributive clause .
Teaching procedures:
Discussion:
1. What kind of clause did we learn in junior middle school? Revise object clause through a sentence example.
“I think that you are right.”(Get the students to analyze the different parts of the sentence.
2. How many different parts are there in a sentence?
Subject 主语
Predicate 谓语
Predicative 表语
Object 宾语
Adverbial 状语
Attribute 定语
3. What can be used as attributives ?
1) tired but happy teachers
2) a girl student
3) an interesting book

what’s the difference?
Introduction:
The boys who are wearing are playing basketball 通过例句分析主句和从句,引出关系代词及先行词。并让学生归纳什么是定语从句。
定语从句:由关系代词或由关系副词引导的对其前面的名词起修饰或限定作用的句子(形容词或介词短语一样)
这个被修饰的名词即为:先行词
中间简单介绍五种简单句的结构:Simple sentences (简单句)
1) 主语+谓语 Eddie is sleeping
2) 主语+谓语+宾语 I like sports.
3) 主语+系动词+表语 The report is true.
4) 主+谓+间接宾语+直接宾语 I’ll give you a recent photo.
5) 主+谓+宾+宾语补足The teachers consider Jim a good student.

v 1. 先分析主句成分,判断属于哪种句式结构,再确定从句范围。
